On June 6, the reality TV star proposed to his girlfriend on a beach in Oahu, Hawaii, with a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring handcrafted by Diamondboi Designs.
He popped the question in front of a large, heart-shaped arch of red roses, with a sign that read, “Will You Marry Me” in the center. The setup was surrounded by more red roses and candles.
In an interview with PEOPLE after the engagement, Jimeno opened up about his love for Malagon, saying that every day they’re together, he has become “a better man.”
