Nathan was living with Olivia and Ethan at the time of his arrest. He was charged with a DUI in March 2022. According to In Touch Weekly, Nathan was just 19 when he was arrested for driving under the influence in Tampa, Florida. The police report explained that Nathan, “was observed unconscious in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, while the vehicle was turned on, at the gas pumps of a gas station,” and he, “provided a breath sample of .087/.088% BrAC.” Nathan was well over the legal limit for blood alcohol, which is 0.08%.

After being arrested, Nathan was brought to jail in Florida’s Hillsborough County. He was released on a cash bail bond that was posted by Ethan and Olivia. Though Nathan’s DUI was clearly an extreme error in his judgment, Ethan and Olivia still felt that they needed to help take care of her brother. Regardless of his mistakes, Nathan is still their family, and they felt an obligation to make sure he was safe. Unlike the rest of the family on Welcome To Plathville, they were looking out for his best interest.
