Leon Brown Reflects on a Year of Grief and Healing

Leon Brown, child of Sister Wives star Meri Brown, has maintained a lower profile in recent seasons of the show. However, fans who have watched them grow up are often curious about their life. As 2024 draws to a close, Leon is reflecting on navigating one of their most challenging years.

An Update on Life

In early December, Leon made a rare social media post, seemingly to reassure everyone that they are “alive.” This came after some curiosity about their absence. More recently, Leon returned to social media to offer a glimpse into their emotional journey.

As many Sister Wives fans know, the Brown family was deeply affected by the loss of Garrison Brown. Each family member is undoubtedly grieving the loss of their brother, son, and uncle in their own way. Leon was particularly blindsided, and life seemed to stand still after Garrison’s passing. Amidst other life challenges, Leon carries the weight of the world on their shoulders, driven by a desire to care for others and advocate for justice and the needs of those around them. Reflecting on 2024, Leon shared some of the big feelings they are processing and offered a glimpse into their heartbreaking journey.

Surviving a Heartbreaking Year

In a recent Instagram post, Leon discussed the lessons they learned this year. The caption reads: “This year broke me beyond words. Grief became the center of my world. I lost people I didn’t know were losable & reconnected with people I never thought I would speak to again. I found friendships I deserve & learned what it means to actually want to heal.”

After discussing their grief, Leon shared a carousel of moments from the past year, demonstrating that joy can still be found amidst tragedy. Despite the weight of the world, Leon is resiliently finding ways to navigate through the darkness. They continued, “Love became a verb in the most real ways & I discovered what it means to trust my body. I lose & gain hope every single day & I mostly have absolutely no idea what I am doing. But I am doing it with love, with care at the center of my heart.”

Throughout this painful journey, Audrey Kriss has been by Leon’s side. Leon added, “I am definitely doing it slow. Here’s to more (real) community care, mutual everything, believing in abundance, & really feeling our griefs— individual & collective.” As Leon navigates the healing process, they are surrounding themselves with supportive people.
