Sister Wives’ Christine Brown flaunts curves in red dress – but fans blast star for ‘awful’ decision
CHRISTINE Brown has enraged fans with a controversial song choice in a new video.
The Sister Wives star shared a funny clip on Instagram on Monday, but fans were more concerned with her accompanying music.
In the post, Christine, 51, showed off her weight loss in a bright red dress and denim vest.
The TLC star took advantage of a pair of wings behind her, leaning forward to pretend to be in flight.
“#havingfun #takingoff #believeingoodthings,” she captioned the clip.
However, fans soon noted that she chose the song I Believe I Can Fly to accompany the video, by disgraced artist R Kelly.
The singer is currently serving 30 years behind bars after being found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking.
“Pick a different song,” begged one fan in the comment section.
“Christine lives in a bubble and is oblivious to what happens in the real world,” slammed a second social media user.
“Anyone who uses R Kelly songs is out of touch with reality,” agreed a third.
“Love you! But awful song choice. He is in jail for rape on all levels,” a fourth fan wrote.
NAME GAME
This isn’t the only decision by Christine called out by fans over the last week.
On Instagram, the star promoted her shared Airbnb and finally revealed her new name after getting married.
Christine tied the knot with David Woolley, 59, on October 7 in a fairytale ceremony at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
However, fans were angry to see that she’d opted to go by Christine Brown Woolley, adopting her new husband’s name but also keeping her ex-husband Kody Brown’s moniker.
“Christine, you need to take ‘Brown’ out of your name!!!” insisted one fan.
“Why wouldn’t you drop the ‘Brown’ name???” asked a second.
“Drop Brown! Geesh,” another angry fan instructed.
A NEW LIFE
Christine and Davis starred in their own two-part wedding special in January, which gave fans a glimpse inside the big day.
In a recent interview, Christine also revealed the exact moment she decided to divorce Kody.
She stated, “The final thing for me was Ysabel’s surgery. That was, like, done. That was like absolute, that was it.”
The then-teenager underwent back surgery in September 2020 to correct her scoliosis, which required her to travel out of town for several weeks.
However, her father refused to accompany Ysabel for the procedure due to the long time he have to spend away from the rest of his family.
Ysabel, now 20, is one of Christine’s six children with Kody, while David has eight children of his own.
