‘Sister Wives’ Fans Furious Over Robyn Brown’s Refusal to Answer Tell-All Questions

Robyn Brown's behavior infuriated 'Sister Wives' fans during TLC's first one-on-one episodes.

The first installment of the Sister Wives Season 19 Tell-All brought the Brown family together to reflect on the past, look ahead to the future, and confront some of the show’s most unforgettable moments. While MeriJanelleChristine, and Kody Brown addressed the tough questions, viewers were left frustrated by Robyn Brown’s repeated refusal to answer the host’s questions directly.

On May 29, TLC uploaded a new video to its Instagram page. It shared a clip of Kody and Robyn as they prepared to travel to Sedona, Arizona to tape their season-ending segments. These interviews were taped in October 2024, seven months before they ultimately aired.

Kody asked Robyn if she was “ready” for filming. Her on-camera response? “I’d rather have a root canal.”

Her hesitation continued as the cast was interviewed by newswoman Sukanya Krishnan. Robyn’s stalling was apparent when she wasn’t pushed to answer the tough questions while the rest of the cast was challenged by the host to tell their truth.

Additionally, Kody’s legal wife didn’t watch any of the clips she was scheduled to comment on during the tell-all, leading the host to question her hesitancy. Robyn claimed the videos were “disturbing.”

However, Sister Wives fans appeared most frustrated by Robyn’s unwillingness to take accountability for her actions throughout Season 19. Many felt she should have fully participated in the interview or at the very least, been held responsible for her role in the family’s ongoing drama.

“If Kody and Robyn refuse to answer questions during the tell all, TLC should not pay them,” wrote one viewer in the post’s comments section. A second agreed, but took their rules one step further. “If Robyn won’t watch the clips then TLC shouldn’t pay them.”

A third wrote, “Both of them [Kody and Robyn] fit each other. Deceiving themselves. But not deceiving any other than themselves.” Finally, a fourth viewer deduced, “The One on Ones equal ‘hold me accountable for my actions.'”

The second part of Sister Wives‘ One on One episodes airs Sunday, June 1 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC. In total, there are four finale installments, marking the end of the longest season in the series’ history.
