Sister Wives: Kody Brown Admits He Pretended To Struggle On Special Forces Task!
Kody, in his interview with US Weekly, revealed that he pretended to have breathing problems. He explained that when the instructors had run them ragged, he kept wheezing, and that was a little bit fake. He thought that if the trainers believed he was working hard, they wouldn’t push him more. That way, he could save some energy for later. So, he wheezed when he did press-ups.
He tried to cover up by saying he never reached his physical limit and had more to offer to the show. Kody further reminisced about a scene where his muscles gave out. They had to swing across monkey bars, but since he had sand on his hands, he couldn’t grip them. He didn’t have enough strength to keep going. However, he insisted he always gave his best despite weakness or exhaustion.
He never wanted the instructors to see his weakness because he knew they would exploit it. At one point, they stood in water, and he started shivering. He didn’t want the instructors to notice. He also admitted he failed as a leader during filming and felt ashamed of the huge mistake he made. The show featured several embarrassing moments for him.
Previously, his co-star Gia revealed that Kody behaved very selfishly on the show. He prioritized his personal gain over the team’s needs. In a way, he cost them several tasks, so it seems like Kody referred to the same situation. It will be interesting to see how he performs once Special Forces premieres.
