Sister Wives star Meri Brown is revealing new details regarding the sale of her Las Vegas home she once shared with ex-husband Kody Brown.

During part two of the One-on-One special for Sister Wives, which aired on Sunday, Jan. 18, the stars of the TLC series sit down with host Sukanya Krishnan to discuss what actually happened leading up to the sale of Coyote Pass, the family’s former property in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Prior to moving to Arizona, Kody’s wives — Meri, 55,  Janelle, 56,  Christine, 53, and Robyn, 47 — lived in four separate homes on the same cul-de-sac in Las Vegas. However, the family moved to Flagstaff in 2018 and purchased a 14-acre property to build a compound that would house all 18 of their children.

The decision left a huge strain on the family, and eventually Christine left the plural marriage in November 2021. Another 14 months later, Meri and Janelle announced their separation from Kody, 56, leaving Robyn as his last remaining wife from the original polygamous marriage.

But now, Meri is revealing that all of her proceeds from the sale of her Las Vegas home went directly to Kody and Robyn for the purchase of their Flagstaff home in 2019.

“This is something that I have consented to never talk about, but we’ll talk about it now,” Meri tells host Krishnan.

During the conversation, Meri states that she was the “only one” who lived in her Las Vegas house for a “majority of the time,” adding that she “made all the payments.” But when it came time to sell, she conceded that Kody’s name was on it, and he could have half of the proceeds. However, after the sale, she says she lent her money to Robyn and Kody.

“That was the loan that I gave to purchase Robyn’s house,” Meri says. “That’s that money.”

“Every penny of it,” Meri’s friend Jenn Sullivan adds.

Earlier in the episode, Kody admitted that both Meri and Janelle had given money to purchase Robyn’s Flagstaff home. But after the relationship ended, both women wanted their money back. Kody confirmed to Krishnan that Janelle eventually received the money she felt she deserved, but negotiations with Meri were never reached.

“I just told Meri on the phone, ‘Hey, we’re going to take care of this,’ ” he said. “We always intended to take care of it.”

Meri has previously spoken about the lack of “trust” she felt towards Kody, Robyn and Janelle surrounding Coyote Pass, and how she felt she needed to get “lawyers involved” because of it.

Kody and Meri officially announced their separation in December 2022 after 32 years of marriage. Together, they share one child Leon, 30.

The Brown family finally sold the Coyote Pass land after years of drama in April 2025 for $1.5 million, PEOPLE confirmed at the time.
