90 Day: The Last Resort star Kalani Faagata shouldn’t date new boyfriend Dallas Nuez, the “hall pass guy” Asuelu Pulaa allowed her to kiss. The 34-year-old is a fan favorite for her bold and confident personality. She made her TV debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 6, where Asuelu moved to the U.S. from Samoa on a K-1 visa. Kalani and Asuelu’s married life had ups and downs due to their communication issues. Asuelu’s immaturity was also one of the reasons for their fights. They first sparked split rumors in March 2022 when Asuelu blocked Kalani on Instagram. In June 2022, Asuelu revealed he was single.
Kalani and Asuelu came to the retreat at Isla Bella Beach Resort because they were dealing with infidelity issues which stemmed from both of them cheating. Kalani and Asuelu’s marriage was falling apart when he went to Samoa to see his father. Asuelu was apparently telling people he was single as he started going out all the time and drinking. During one night, Asuelu met a woman who he kissed. Kalani saw Asuelu’s white tongue during a video call and put two and two together to find out he had a yeast infection from an intimate act.
Kalani Needs To Learn From The Past
Asuelu wanted to make things even, so he allowed Kalani to have a hall pass, which she could use to kiss someone. Kalani admitted she was a virgin when he met Asuelu and had not been with anyone apart from him. So when she did kiss Dallas, she decided she might as well go all the way. What Kalani didn’t realize was she would eventually develop feelings for Dallas. It’s not a fling anymore for Kalani.
She wasn’t careful the first time with Asuelu, so ended up pregnant. Kalani wanted her child’s father around, which is why Asuelu made it to the U.S. They repeated the same mistake before they could even get married and were pregnant again. Recalling their foolishness, Asuelu told Kalani, “he can get you pregnant tho,” when Kalani admitted she was still seeing Dallas at the retreat. Kalani and Asuelu were trying to give their relationship another try because of their kids. Kalani hasn’t learned from her past and has rushed into a romance without giving her future any thought; she’s knowingly inviting trouble into her life again.
She Might Be Using The Hall Pass Guy Dallas Nuez To Make Asuelu Jealous
Kalani isn’t learning from her mistake by jumping from one relationship to another. She could be trying to avoid her grieving process and numbing the pain caused by Asuelu’s cheating. Kalani often complained about Asuelu not fulfilling her needs. Something was lacking in her relationship, and she thought a new boyfriend would fill that void. It makes the relationship unhealthy not only for Kalani but also for Dallas.
Dallas shouldn’t be okay with Kalani going into group therapy with her ex to sort out her marriage since they were still talking. Kalani likely wanted to reunite with Asuelu if she signed up for 90 Day: The Last Resort. She used her hall pass to hurt Asuelu and make him feel jealous. She may have wanted to remind Asuelu what he’s missing and how she’s still attractive to other men. Kalani and Asuelu’s retreat idea is a flop since she is supposedly still dating Dallas, who also, strangely, decided to date her despite her going on the show.
Kalani Should Focus On Her Kids
Bouncing back after the breakup would have been good for Kalani. She should have taken a step back to figure out what she wants in life instead of seeking validation from someone new. Being single would have given Kalani some time to herself so she could process her emotions before jumping into a relationship she got into out of spite. However, her Instagram posts make it look like she’s already introduced her kids to Dallas, which is a red flag. Kalani has a lot to learn about healthy relationships, and hopefully, 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1 is where she learns about developing a stable relationship.
