Who Is ’90 Day Fiance’ Star Jasmine Pregnant By, Gino or Matt?

Jasmine is expecting baby No. 3, her first child with Matt. The reality star announced her pregnancy on February 18, 2025, but was initially cryptic about who the father was.

“Hi everyone, I have very special news for you!” Jasmine said joyfully to the camera as she cradled her growing baby bump in a strapless white gown. “Let me announce to you that I am pregnant, I am so happy and excited and I cannot wait to meet my beautiful baby.”

A few hours later, Jasmine shared a link to a series of glamour maternity photos, one of which included a portrait of her and Matt cuddled up together.

TLC confirmed Matt was the father in their own post about Jasmine’s pregnancy the same day.

“Baby on the way! 90 Day Fiance’s Jasmine confirms she’s expecting with Matt, who she recently introduced on Last Resort,” the official TLC Instagram page announced.

Sources exclusively confirmed to In Touch on January 6, 2025, that the former English teacher was pregnant, and Gino wasn’t the father.

“Almost certain it’s the Matt guy,” a source revealed, alluding to Matt, who Jasmine met at a Michigan gym.

Jasmine Called Matt Her ‘Friend’ in a Pregnancy Post

The Panama native shared a series of maternity portraits of herself and Matt while showing off her baby bump on February 26, 2025. In the caption she wrote, “Mom and Dad love you baby.”

However, when referring to Matt, she added, “@mattbranistareanu you’re the most genuine, unconditional friend I have ever had!”

Matt has been a little more open about his feelings towards Jasmine in messages he’s shared on Instagram. In a March 16, 2025, post showing him with his arms around a bikini-clad Jasmine prior to her pregnancy, he called her his, “Baby Mama” via the caption. Matt used a red heart emoji as his caption while sharing their pregnancy glamour photo on February 18, 2025.

Jasmine and Gino Had a Sexless Marriage Before She Considered Ethical Non-Monogamy

During 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2, Jasmine complained on multiple occasions that she and Gino hadn’t had sex in nine months and that she wanted to bring a third person into their marriage.

While they didn’t have a physical relationship, Jasmine and Gino still had emotional ties that caused the two to ultimately stay together and recommit to their marriage on The Last Resort, albeit one that now included Matt.

Gino Was Initially Opposed to an Open Marriage With Jasmine and Matt

Jasmine pushed hard for an open marriage including Matt during The Last Resort. Gino was against it but ultimately agreed in order to keep his wife in his life.

During their first phone conversation shown on the March 24, 2025, finale, Gino told Matt, “OK, let’s say she’s, you know, starting to fall in love or get this really strong bond with you. Jasmine and I agreed that at that point we would have to end this because we don’t want feelings to get involved or get too emotionally attached to each other.” Matt agreed to Gino’s request.

Matt told Gino, “I do think Jasmine is kind of fragile, so she does … sometimes need a delicate way of handling her or talking to her when I don’t see that she is taken care of the way she should be.” He added that it was “kind of heartbreaking,” because Jasmine “has a good heart.”

“I don’t like the way Matt talked to me. But unfortunately, I feel like I’ve been put in a corner by Jasmine,” Gino explained, adding how Matt was the only person she wanted in their open marriage and with the recommitment ceremony the following day, “I don’t feel like I have another choice.”

“Well, I still don’t know if this is what you want, but anyway, love starts as a feeling but continues as a choice and I find myself choosing you more and more every day. I promise you my unconditional love, tenderness and undying devotion. And to love you, comfort you, protect you and shelter you all days of my life till the day I die, baby,” Jasmine told her husband during their recommitment ceremony.

Gino responded, “I don’t want to lose you and I’m willing to do, you know, whatever it takes, you know, to keep you. I’m not going to give up.” However, he again noted that his goal moving forward was to increase their connection and eventually discontinue the open marriage.

Only hours after confirming her pregnancy on February 18, 2025, Jasmine asked fans to follow a now-defunct fan page seemingly dedicated to her, Gino and Matt, “@jasmine.gino.matt,” by sharing a maternity photo via her Instagram Stories.
