Watch ‘Welcome to Plathville’ Stars Ethan and Moriah Have Heated Discussion Over Olivia Drama (Exclusive)
Moriah previously accused Olivia of stealing and deleting her music on Spotify
fter avoiding each other for the majority of Welcome to Plathville‘s season 5, Ethan and Moriah Plath are finally discussing the drama that ensued after Moriah accused her brother’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Olivia, of stealing her music.
Earlier in the season, fans watched Moriah (a musician) suddenly move out of Ethan and Olivia’s house without notice after accusing her sister-in-law of stealing and deleting her music from her Spotify account. The tension between Olivia and Moriah — who were best friends for years — has caused a major rift between Ethan and the rest of his family.
In a clip exclusive to The Messenger, the brother and sister duo chat about what really happened between the pair.

“You talk about respectful, but you accuse Olivia of stealing from you,” Ethan says in the clip. “That’s not respectful.”
“I didn’t know what happened,” says Moriah, who previously worked with Olivia in uploading and promoting her music. “All I knew was I had an account, and my music was not in there. And I thought for sure, like when we uploaded the music, it was in my account and I had access to it. When I went to log into my account, it wasn’t there. I freaked out, and I was like, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to get access to the music.’ I asked her, she left me on read, and that was when I was like, ‘This isn’t going to be good.'”
Ethan counters, “So then what were you two doing in the kitchen, like two days before we left, or the night before we left, where you were both at the counter with the laptop changing the password so you could access your stuff while we were gone?”
“That never happened,” Moriah replies.
In October, Ethan and Olivia confirmed their split on social media after five years of marriage.
“It just didn’t work between us, though Lord knows we both gave it all we had,” Ethan wrote on Instagram. “It seemed we were constantly pulling each other in opposite directions in life with different goals. I wish Olivia the best in the future ahead. I care for her deeply and always will.”
Olivia also detailed their breakup in her own post while looking back on how they met.
“I have ambivalent memories of us being 18 years old, innocently dreaming of forever — but the partner you choose is a reflection of the world you want to live in, and at 18, I didn’t know who I was or what kind of life I wanted to create for myself,” she explained on Instagram. “Seven years later, I’ve already begun my journey of questioning, deconstructing and rebuilding, and I know that this is a process that I will continue to prioritize throughout my life.”
Additionally, Olivia thanked Ethan for “the good times” and said she wishes him the best. But looking ahead, the TLC reality star is ready to embark on a new chapter.
“There were good moments, and I want to remember and honor those,” she said. “We fell in love as children and are going our separate ways as adults. Wiser, older and braver. We will be okay.”
Welcome to Plathville airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
