‘Sister Wives’ star Gabe Brown shows off dramatic 75-pound weight loss
The 23-year-old shares before-and-after photos from his progress in the gym.
After a challenging year, Gabe Brown has been prioritizing his health.
The “Sister Wives” star unveiled a new figure on June 10 when he posted a before-and-after photo of his 75-pound weight loss on his Instagram story.
“They said I fell off… Oooo I needed that,” the 23-year-old captioned the post.
In the first photo, a shirtless Brown stands in front of the mirror while taking a selfie. In the picture below, the reality star sports a white tank top and black shorts at the gym and strikes a pose that shows off his muscle growth.
The TLC star hasn’t shared much about how he lost the weight. However, he is the latest member of the Brown family to speak out about their renewed focus on health. Over the past year, his sister Mykelti Padron also started sharing updates from her own health journey.
Like the rest of his family, Brown has had a difficult year after the loss of his brother Garrison Brown, who died by suicide in 2024. Throughout Season 19 of “Sister Wives,” the show has chronicled how the family coped following his sudden death.
Gabe Brown was the one to find his brother after he passed away, as his mother recalled in a recent episode.
While reflecting on the moment, Gabe Brown offered insight into his late brother’s mental state before his death.
“(He) really was so genuine and he didn’t let on to it a lot, but he always felt a lot deeper than he expressed. Everyone in my family knows that,” he said.
Both Gabe Brown and his brother were estranged from their father, Kody Brown, in the months leading up to Garrison Brown’s death. It’s a topic the father of 18 addressed during a recent episode of “Sister Wives.”
“There’s so much left unsaid, so much left undone,” he said.
Gabe Brown opened up about his estrangement from his father in a previous season of the reality series.
“Me and Garrison are at odds with our dad because when we expressed our discontent with how things were going with COVID, I was met with just a wall, there was no line of dialogue (with Kody Brown),” he said during Season 18, referencing his father’s strict pandemic protocols. “I think that was what really drove the wedge between us.”
