Sister Wives SHOCK: Kody Brown BEGS for Therapy After Realizing His Kids Want Nothing to Do With Him

The Brown family saga took a dramatic turn this week as Kody Brown finally acknowledged his strained relationships with his older children, leading him to seek professional help. The emotional fallout follows a highly tense property sale reunion and ongoing accusations from his ex-wives, Janelle and Christine.

💔 Coyote Pass Closes with Cold Shoulders

The long-awaited sale of Coyote Pass finally closed, but the reunion for the paperwork signing was anything but celebratory. The awkward meeting involved Kody and Robyn sitting in their car, while Janelle and Meri sat in theirs, highlighting the vast emotional distance between them.

“Cody and I just pulled up. Mary and Janelle are sitting in their cars. Message was, you know, we don’t need to interact,” one party recounted.

The tension was palpable, especially between Kody and Meri. Meri later vented to a friend, sharing her heartbreak over Kody’s deliberate avoidance. “Like he did not look at me once… She on purpose had never, never looked at me. It was the dumbest thing. We have this history. We should be able to interact and be decent with each other.”

Kody’s attempts at eye contact with Janelle were partially reciprocated, but he admitted he never saw Meri look at him.

🗣️ Accusations of Financial Manipulation

The property sale itself was fraught with conflict. The narrative included a suggestion of a “back door deal” where Janelle pushed Kody to sell the property quickly, even if it meant doing so “out from under these other two [wives].” Kody claimed, “Janelle was giving him pressure to sell the property out from under Mary.”

While the women expressed relief that the chapter is closed (“One chapter closed,” said one), the underlying resentment remains.

😤 The Burden of Blame: Kody vs. Ex-Wives

Following the reunion, the ex-wives continued to air their grievances. Janelle, while on a girls’ trip, criticized Kody’s recent self-pity. “Kody turned 50 and all of a sudden he started making all this noise about he was carrying the whole family… I’m tired of carrying the burden. It’s aging me.”

Janelle strongly defended her commitment, stating, “I never shirked my responsibilities ever in this family. I was there. I was always there. And I gave 110% every time.”

Meanwhile, Christine and Janelle are equally exhausted by Kody’s claim that they are influencing their children against him. Christine stated: “I’m just exhausted and so tired of being blamed for how his kids feel about him. It’s his responsibility, not mine.” Janelle agreed, stating, “I’ve reached out to every one of my children and multiple times. And if they don’t have a relationship with me, it’s because they’re not reciprocating.”

🛋️ Kody Seeks Therapy

In a shocking admission to Robyn, Kody recognized the dire state of his family relationships, especially with his older children.

“I’ve been struggling with um some old relationships and how they haven’t been improving, getting better, or even having any interaction. I’m wondering if I could… getting a good therapist would would help me,” Kody admitted.

He expressed a desire to “work on on me because I’m angry about what a lot of the kids have said, done, and believed,” but acknowledged he needs the “tools to be able to engage a relationship, putting my feelings aside.” Robyn fully supported the decision, though she still suggested “influencing” from outside forces may be part of the problem.

🧘 Janelle’s Quest for Spiritual Release

To completely move on from Kody, Janelle revealed she is pursuing a spiritual release to sever the “psychic bond” from their defunct marriage, treating her spiritual union “as if it was just the same as a legal marriage.” She noted that Kody could have initiated the release himself, but did not.

💍 Christine’s Monogamy Struggle

Finally, Christine opened up about the unexpected difficulties of her new monogamous marriage with David, admitting her highly independent nature has made it challenging. With help from her sister, she realized, “You are a terrible monogamist. I take over. I take over a house. I take over everything.” Despite the learning curve, David reassured her, “You’re doing good. We’re figuring it out.”
