Sister Wives’ Meri Brown splurges over a million on her B&B but it’s still closed

Over the years, Sister Wives has served some super emotional scenes and one wife’s journey that’s been particularly tumultuous is Meri Brown’s. The reality star dealt with the passing of her mother during the show, and the breakdown of her marriage. Now, she’s reportedly taking out multiple loans for her B&B business.

Meri Brown’s life looks a whole lot different from when TLC viewers first met her. She’s reportedly taken out loans on her closed B&B business that now topple the $1 million mark since splitting from Sister Wives star Kody Brown.

Meri Brown’s mom was a big part of her B&B

It’s clear to see from Sister Wives, that Meri’s B&B means a lot to her.

Shedding tears over the potential passing of her mother, Meri told the cameras: “It’s not something I’m ready for…”

She added: “She’s only 76…” before learning that her mom passed via her sister.

“I don’t even know how to do this, this is just so unexpected and so quick. This is not supposed to happen this way… my mom was the most giving person that I ever knew, she was an amazing person.”

She told the cameras how her mom had “always been there” for her: “I am so sad, I don’t even know what to do… I don’t know what the rest of my life is gonna look like, I don’t know about the B&B, you know?”

Sister Wives star takes out a third loan on her B&B

During another episode of Sister Wives, Meri told Kody and Robyn how she wanted to move her business.

She left Flagstaff, Arizona, after splitting from Kody and opted for a life dedicated to her Utah-based B&B.

However, in August last year, Meri shut her B&B’s doors.

She closed Lizzie’s Heritage Inn temporarily to make renovations to the property and is now taking out loans to pay for it, per an exclusive from The US Sun.

The report reads: “Meri has taken out a third loan in the amount of $485,000.”

In total, the reality TV star has reportedly racked up a total of $1,139,500 in loans on the home.
