Sister Wives star Madison Brush is the daughter of Kody and his second wife, Janelle. Last year, after she gave birth to her fourth child, she revealed that she had decided to have no contact with her father. In a podcast, she added that she’s not in touch with a few family members. Speaking about her father, she said that he does not know how to respect other people’s boundaries. Furthermore, she said that he thinks everyone needs to do what he wants, but she doesn’t care to do that.

Maddie admitted that when she was candid about herself, Brown often got angry. Brush also said that he didn’t like it when she confronted him, and that is when she decided to have no contact with him. However, she recently added that she is still struggling with the separation. She said that anyone would want their father to show up and reconcile. Brush added that she was learning not to feel disappointed. “I am learning that he didn’t know how to show up,” she exclaimed. Recently, Madison Brush opened up about her father in her Instagram stories. On October 10, Sister Wives star decided to interact with her fans. She posted an inspirational quote, and a fan replied that it lacked some skills, which she attributed to her father. Later, the reality  TV star shared a screenshot of herself reaching out to the fan in direct messages. Maddie wrote, “Your dad saying lies about you for the entire world to hear teaches it to you REAL QUICK.”

Furthermore, she also opened up about her plans to reconnect with her father. She said that she needed more than Kody could give her. “I am not sure I want to welcome the storm that is Kody & Robyn into my life,” she added. Maddie also wrote that the Brush family’s ‘day to day’ life is ‘quiet and easy,’ and she likes that very much. The mother of four shared that she had gone to a therapist many times.

Brush added that it was because of what she went through with her father. She admitted that it was beneficial for her. She wrote, “I think anyone comes from complex family dynamics could benefit from it.” Furthermore, in the Q&A session, a follower questioned whether Robyn had tried reaching out to her. She replied, “Robyn is a liar! The end.” Maddie also wrote that if Robyn starts speaking, she would be manipulative in a ‘calculated way.’

Additionally, she talked about Meri Brown and blamed her father for Meri’s hurtfulness. The reality TV star added that Meri was really harsh and is on her own healing journey. Brush disclosed that she will never allow Meri to be a part of her children’s lives, even if she forgives her.
