Sister Wives: Kody Knocked Down to Size While Filming New Gig

Sister Wives star Kody Brown breaks his online silence to plug his appearance in the new season of Special Forces. Kody is the star of his TLC series, but he is just one of the crowd for his newest gig, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 4. That said, it sounds like Kody experienced a rude awakening about his popularity, or lack thereof, outside of his reality show, Sister Wives.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Struts His Stuff

We will see Kody Brown out of his realm, as he performs in a series that is nothing like Sister Wives. Instead of family issues, the father of 18 battles both physical and psychological challenges in the episodes of Special Forces.

Sister Wives fans were accustomed to Kody hopping between the homes of his four wives. But these days, he stays put at Robyn’s house, as he is now in a monogamous relationship.

So maybe he finds monogamy bland after decades of plural marriage challenges. If so, he certainly found a way to add excitement to his life, and it is unlike anything he has done before on the screen.

New Gig Breeds Friction?

Sister Wives fans were furious that Kody took time off to participate in another reality show when he couldn’t make time for his kids. Many fans find it just awful that he would leave Robyn Brown to participate in Special Forces, but he wouldn’t leave her for Ysabel Brown’s surgery.

Kody Brown isn’t the star of Special Forces. So, for the Sister Wives fans, this makes tuning in all the more iintriguing That’s only because they know how much he needs to be the center of attention. But, it looks like he didn’t get to be front and center with his new reality show venture.

Sister Wives: Kody’s Ego Slammed?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is considered an unlikable guy by a couple of contestants from Special Forces Season 4. Gia Guidice hinted at tension bubbling up between Kody and the others.

But Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia went a bit further by admitting she and Kody didn’t get along. It was Brianna who knocked Kody down to size with a seemingly simple comment.

She didn’t know who Kody Brown was. That is all he needs to hear. Sister Wives fans see this as a major slam for the man with the ringlets. You can belittle Kody by calling him names or even make fun of his hair, as it still gets him the attention he craves. But not knowing who Kody Brown is, well…

When someone admits they never heard of the guy before, fans surmise that was a tough thing for Kody to hear. Yep, you can call him names, but by saying that you have no idea who he is, that was likely a devastating blow to his ego.

Kody Brown said that he has the need to be the center of attention. But a few of the other Special Forces contestants hinted that in this reality show, that’s just not the case. So, if you are interested in seeing Kody Brown out of his usual surroundings, Special Forces Season 4 airs September 25 on Fox at 9 pm ET.
