Kody Brown is swallowing the difficult pill after one of his four wives walked out of the polygamous marriage. In the latest episode, a lot of drama and chaos is unveiled beside him talking about how he ended up in that place. During this episode, he was seen engaging in candid and emotionally rejuvenated ‘therapy sessions’ with his friends Brian and Nathan and his brother Michael. They talked about the issues this father of 18 kids faced in his polygamous marriage. However, Kody’s mates provided him an ear, but they shared their unbiased opinions.
Kody started by sharing about the problems with his ex-wife, Christine, and how his life looked after their divorce. He mentioned that all he could think about was her leaving, and he could recall yelling about it. Brian, his friend, talked about his stages of grief after their split. Then the fifty-four-year-old reality TV personality shared that he was in ‘disbelief,’ recalling the shock when she packed her belongings. In another conversation, Kody shared that he was still angry about the fallout. He then told his mates that he shifted from relief to anger while dealing with the aftermath of their split.
Kody accepted that his anger made things even more bitter with Robyn and Janelle. The TLC star accepted that his other wives believed him to be a women hater. His fourth wife also confronted that it has been affecting their relationship. Then his friend, Nathan, who has experience with the fallout of polygamous marriages, suggested him to find the exact cause of his anger. Kody supported his suggestion by sharing that the root of anger is either fear or self-delusion/self-deception. Nathan then advised Brown to observe all the good, bad, and ugly of his relationship and own it.

One of the initial episodes of Sister Wives season 18 featured Kody and Christine meeting for the first time after their divorce for lunch. They planned the meeting to discuss their after-divorce holiday plans and how they want to take things further with their youngest daughter, Truely. During the conversation, Kody asked Christine to accompany him for breakup counseling
. He accepted that he wanted to have a functional place with her, as he desired to reach a point where he did not think or speak badly about her to their kids.
Christine soon agreed but later talked to the cameras, sharing that he had talked about therapy and counseling for a year, which never happened. Thus, she assured the viewers that the breakup counseling would never happen. As the story proceeds, much of their family chaos is yet to be uncovered.
