Sister Wives: Kody Brown Will Never Be Friends With Christine, Janelle & Meri (He’s Made Too Many Mistakes)

Sister Wives star Kody Brown couldn’t befriend his former wives because he has permanently messed up his relationship with them. The 54-year-old polygamous patriarch was previously married to Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown. He claimed to have loved them all and liked splitting his time between them. Kody spent a good twenty years with his first three wives before he decided to add another partner to his family. He married Robyn Brown in 2010 and started giving her all his attention. The Brown family patriarch stopped loving his other three wives and slowly grew distant from them all to give all his love to his fourth wife.

Kody pulled out from his first three marriages. He said some horrible things about Meri, Janelle, and Christine that no sane man would say about anyone they ever loved. Kody told Christine she was repulsive and unattractive, bringing her confidence down. He also accused Janelle of not being obedient enough. The Brown family patriarch did the worst things to his first wife, Meri. He emotionally tortured her and even suggested she move to his barn like she was some sort of animal. After the COVID-19 pandemic, Kody’s first three wives had enough of polygamy. They ended their spiritual marriage with the man and moved on with their lives.

Kody Has Said Some Harsh Things To His Ex-Wives

Recently, Kody claimed that he hopes to maintain a decent friendship with Christine, Janelle, and Meri. However, there are a few reasons why he won’t ever be able to do that. The most obvious reason Kody couldn’t befriend his ex-wives is his past behavior towards them. While things may have calmed down in the last year, it must be hard for the Sister Wives to forget what their polygamous husband has said to them over the years. Kody has made fun of his former wives, pointing out their flaws and making a mockery out of them on reality TV. He has been truly notorious for his harsh remarks.

In the early seasons of Sister Wives, Kody claimed he wasn’t attracted to Christine at all. He later officially divorced Meri, all the while melting her wedding ring. The middle-aged man also said some horrible things about Janelle, which were completely out of the line. Kody has continued his bad behavior even after his splits from Meri, Janelle, and Christine. Most recently, he claimed that he never loved his former wives. Kody made the outrageous statement that, despite spending 30 years in plural marriage, he never had feelings for the women who gave him their most precious years. He said he only ever loved Robyn.

Kody’s Exes Don’t Want To Be Friends With Him

Neither of the Sister Wives would want to have a friendship with Kody due to everything that has happened and is yet to come. Apart from Kody’s past harassment, Meri, Janelle, and Christine wouldn’t want to be friends with him because they’ve moved on with their lives. The three ladies don’t have a lot in common with Kody apart from the kids, most of whom have already grown up. When it comes to Janelle, she won’t befriend Kody because she’s focusing on her business and newly single life. She wants to travel and spend time with her friends. She wouldn’t want Kody’s presence to ruin that.

Meri would also not like to befriend Kody because she’s over him. While she was hopeful for her marriage with Kody for years, she has finally moved on with her life. She’s free and has recently formed a new relationship with her boyfriend, Amos Andrews. Meri finally has everything and won’t lose it for Kody.

She may not want to be reminded of her failed marriage and all the negative moments by being friends with Kody.

Kody Never Takes Accountability For His Actions

Another reason Sister Wives would never be on good terms with Kody is because they know him inside out. Kody married Meri over three decades ago, in the early 90s. He decided to go polygamous and married Janelle in 1993. Within a year, he brought Christine into his life, building a family with her alongside his other two wives. The Sister Wives have spent decades with Kody and understand his every move. They’ve all had to share him in the past and know all his flaws. From Kody’s behavioral issues to his habit of exaggerating things, the Sister Wives know he isn’t trustworthy.

One thing that Meri, Janelle, and Christine hate about Kody is his lack of responsibility. The Brown family patriarch doesn’t take accountability for his actions. He’s never sorry about what he says or cares about other people’s feelings. He’s self-centered and very much a narcissist. The Sister Wives know better than to befriend and have faith in Kody now that they’ve all split up with him. They have no reason to allow him to be their friend when they know he’ll continue to repeat his mistakes and will never be accountable. Kody must change himself to earn Meri, Janelle, and Christine’s trust. However, even then, he may not be able to do it.

Kody Said Terrible Things About His Children

Mothers are generally forgiving and big-hearted. However, no mother can forgive someone who has mistreated their kids. Kody was once a decent father and cared for his multiple families. However, he has changed significantly in the last ten years, showing he isn’t a good patriarch. He adopted Robyn’s children in the early 2010s and stopped caring for his own kids with Meri, Janelle, and Christine. He became bitter toward them all and blamed the mothers for not raising them well. He also did some outrageous things to his sons and daughters, showing that he didn’t love them all equally.

He also partially neglected his daughters, choosing to spend time with some of them while forgetting the others. Previously, Kody bought expensive gifts for his kids with Robyn but didn’t do the same for his other children. Kody has also shown disdain for his child with Meri, Leon, who’s transgender. The Sister Wives star hasn’t fulfilled his duty of being a good father, so Meri, Janelle, and Christine will never forgive him.
