As Christine Brown poignantly noted, “We’re not the same family that went to Aspyn and Mitch’s wedding.”

Mitch Thompson recently shared on his Instagram that he has reached a significant milestone. “After 7+ years of training and a 7 hour test, I have finally earned my black belt in Krav Maga!” he wrote, along with a photo of himself receiving his diploma. This accomplishment shows his commitment to something he began even before marrying Aspyn, and she clearly supports his dedication.

Dedication and Discipline

Unified Krav Maga also highlighted Mitch Thompson’s incredible dedication. They shared that Mitch has demonstrated extraordinary discipline over the past seven years to achieve his black belt. Their post emphasized the organization’s mission to empower the community with self-defense skills and knowledge.

The requirements for achieving a black belt in their system are extensive, including:

An expert understanding of all UKM self-defense techniques.
Participating in fights against unknown opponents.
Serving as a primary instructor.
