Real Or A Hoax?- Did 90 Day Fiancé’s Paul Staehle Actually Go Missing?
Paul Staehle is considered an attention seeker, but 90 Day Fiancé fans are concerned about him because he seems to be in deep trouble this time.
Paul Staehle from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has gone missing, and his disappearance has generated fan skepticism. The 40-year-old dad of two has been controversial since his debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1. However, he became the center of drama not long ago when he split from his Brazilian wife, Karine Martins. At the time, Child Protective Services intervened and took his sons, Pierre and Ethan Staehle, away to give them a better home. While Karine remained in the United States to try and get her kids back, Paul moved to Brazil to kickstart a new life.
Over the years, the popular 90 Day Fiancé franchise pair didn’t see eye to eye romantically. However, Paul tried to support Karine by sharing information on the CPS situation. He gave updates to fans and let them know the progress. At one point, he even sparked rumors of a reconciliation with Karine, which later proved false. The reality star has stayed in Brazil for the last few months, making new friends and posting positive content. Unfortunately, he couldn’t improve his social media image because of past scandals and shenanigans. In late August 2023, Paul stopped posting on his Instagram.
Karine Alluded To Him Missing
The news of Paul’s disappearance spread like wildfire on social media in early September 2023. People began wondering where he was, and journalists started posting about him. The whole situation changed when Karine stepped in and alleged that her husband had probably passed away. She wrote, “we will never forgot [sic] you or the good memories we all shared.” The Brazilian reality star implied that Paul had died, which scared the concerned fans even more. However, Karine’s later Instagram Stories about life insurance quickly made people skeptical. Social media users began wondering if Paul was orchestrating an insurance scam.
Paul’s Mom Shared Her Texts With Him Before He Went Missing
To add more to the drama, a celebrity blogger, John Yates, posted screenshots of Paul’s conversation with his mom. The chat alleged that Paul had “f***ed up bad,” and needed someone to rescue him. While the talk was vague, it showed Paul asking his mom to send help. He seemed worried about his phone’s battery and wanted his mother to send a boat. Soon after the screenshots, the blogger shared that Paul’s mother had contacted the American Embassy. At the same time, Paul’s Brazilian friends also began looking for him.
