Celebrity Clash: Chickenfry vs. Kody Brown on ‘Special Forces’
‘Special Forces’ isn’t your typical reality show. It throws celebrities into the deep end of military-style training, pushing them to their absolute physical and mental limits. It’s a grueling test designed to mirror the intense selection process of real Special Forces operatives.
This season, the cast includes some familiar faces: Kody Brown from ‘Sister Wives,’ podcaster Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia, former football player Andrew East, his Olympic gymnast wife Shawn, and Gia Giudice, daughter of ‘Real Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice. Interestingly, Kody Brown’s fame didn’t extend to everyone on set. He seemed familiar with the football players but was completely in the dark about Brianna Chickenfry’s background, even asking her on the show what she was known for.
Chickenfry’s Ultimate Test: Kody Brown
Brianna, known for her outspoken personality and past relationship with country singer Zach Bryan, which she has alluded to being abusive, revealed she was battling PTSD during filming. Initially, she clashed with the directing staff, her directness a stark contrast to the required silence and obedience. However, it seems that pairing her with Kody Brown, the former polygamist, proved to be the ultimate challenge to her patience.
No Holds Barred: Chickenfry’s True Feelings About Kody
It’s safe to say Kody Brown rubbed Brianna the wrong way, almost daily. During a recent challenge, Brianna bluntly told Kody, “You are the brawn; we are the brains,” essentially telling him to be quiet and focus on the task at hand. But her true feelings didn’t stay confined to the set. Brianna has been very open about her opinions of Kody Brown on her podcasts, accusing him of mistreating women and even calling him “slow.” She went as far as labeling him a narcissist and an “insane F*ng person” who has a history of treating women badly.
The Robyn Brown Bombshell
The drama didn’t stop there. Brianna dropped a major bombshell on her “BFFs” podcast. She revealed that the ‘Special Forces’ cast went to dinner in New York for the reunion show. Everyone was there with their spouses and significant others, except for Kody Brown. When Brianna asked about Robyn’s absence, Kody’s response was shocking.
In her podcast, Brianna shared, “This is the tea that nobody knows about this…I didn’t say it on anything I was going to save it for Plan Bri (podcast).”.
“She Was Going to Murder Me”
Chickenfry recounted her conversation with Kody about Robyn: “Where’s Robin?” And he said…that his wife, Robin, couldn’t come because if she did come, ‘she was going to murder me.'” Brianna’s reaction was disbelief. “Are you crazy? I have a Mormon sister wife who wants to skin me alive, dude. I couldn’t even [ __ ] believe it. First of all, what did I do?”
She went on to say, “If you guys are watching Special Forces, I’m like, I think I was the nicest one to him on the show. I was like doing gentle parenting.” Chickenfry added, “I was very nice to him today. She said they were very calm and collected, taking pictures together. “We did podcasts together. We did press together. His wife wants to put a gun to my head.”
Misunderstood or Just Bad?
Brianna ended the segment admitting she’s completely baffled by Kody. She can’t wrap her head around whether Kody is “misunderstood, if he’s bad, or what.” She concluded, “Like, I just I’m leaving it as I feel bad, and I just don’t want to touch it anymore because I think he’s got a bunch of screws loose, and I just don’t want to make fun of him.
