Sister Wives fans may recall that a few days ago, Kody Brown said he should not be the only one held responsible for the distance between him and his children. However, Kody said something different while he was in Special Forces. Throughout the season, he claimed he was ready to take on all the responsibility. But when the show ended, so did his sense of responsibility.
Ironically, he blamed his ex-wives for it and said they were equally to blame for everything that happened between him and his estranged children. Sister Wives Fans Slam Kody For Shifting Blame On His Wives!
Recently, Kody Brown gave an interview, where he put all the blame for being a poor father on his wives. A Redditor posted that Kody said he only took responsibility because he was in a military-type situation. The original poster further added that, apparently, Kody is applying the Special Forces rule of ‘if the team fails, all fail’ in real life. A user commented that he weaseled out of taking responsibility again.
The same person continued that Kody has time to make a fake deathbed letter to reconcile with his kids. However, when he does have all the time in the world for that, he still does not do it, the user added. “Kody had to make sure everyone was clear that he wasn’t solely to blame for his broken family,” another wrote.

TLC posted a video in which the Sister Wives stars, Robyn and Kody, appeared to be discussing something serious. Robyn said there had been some misunderstanding and a “pretty intense influence.” She added that the children must have a relationship with both Kody and her. Kody seemed confused by her comments. However, it looked like she was trying to blame the ex-wives for the distance between him and the children.
Furthermore, in the confessional, she said that sometimes parents do not realize how their small statements can influence their children and how they view their other parent. She claimed that in plural marriages, dads are not around as much as moms. In another scene, Christine appeared extremely angry with Kody. She questioned how it was her fault that things went south between him and his kids. She further stated that she is exhausted from taking all the blame.
“It’s his responsibility, not mine,” Christine concluded. Elsewhere, Janelle said she wished she had more influence over her adult children. If that had been the case, things might have been very different. Moving forward, Kody said he reached out to all his children. “I’ve reached out to every one of my children, and multiple times,” he stated. He added that they do not have a relationship with him because they are not reciprocating.
Fans may recall that a few days ago, Mykelti revealed that her dad had reached out to her. But she said she would not speak to him until he spoke with all his estranged kids and not just her. No one knows whether he reached out to all his kids, but one thing is certain: his ex-wives will not take any unnecessary blame. .
