90 Day Fiance’s David Defends Annie for Drinking Wine Shortly After Giving Birth to Baby No. 1
90 Day Fiance star David Toborowsky defended wife Annie Suwan Toborowsky after fans came after the TLC star for sipping on a glass of wine while holding their newborn daughter, Minthirarat.
On April 25, David, 56, shared a video of Annie, 36, rocking Minthirarat to sleep, while getting cool air from a fan. In her hand, Annie had a small amount of wine in a glass and took a sip before flashing a smile and setting the drink down.
“When it’s late and the baby just wants to be held sad mommy needs a little wine lol,” David captioned the post, gushing, “Annie is so cute.”
Some fans had an issue over Annie’s drink of choice, and had no problem sharing their disapproval in the comments section of David’s post.
“She is drinking holding the baby??? It’s not about drinking wine, it’s about drinking with a small child in your arms. Drink when your baby is in the crib or in someone’s else’s arms,” one person commented.
David replied, “Sip please what I have seen people with hot coffee and hot tea in their hand so please.”
Meanwhile, a second fan wrote, “No mother should be holding her infant and drinking wine at the same time. Pumping and dumping is not the point. The point is alcohol impairs one’s judgement; including the ability to hold an infant securely. Annie – stop drinking when you’re taking care of your infant daughter.”
David made a PSA in the comments section to stop the haters from chiming off further.
“She currently is not breast feeding just pumping and dumping,” he wrote.
On March 11, David and Annie confirmed they welcomed their first child together after undergoing IVF treatment.
“With hearts full of love and joy, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Minthirarat,” the TLC stars told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “Her name means ‘brave gem’ and symbolizes the strength of Pisces, truly a shining light in our lives. We feel incredibly blessed to see this little miracle come to life.”
The couple began to prepare for expanding their family in January 2024, with Annie going through IVF, while David reversed his vasectomy.
Annie had a successful embryo transfer that June and did not hold back from sharing the great news with her Instagram followers.
“The most important person in my heart and my life is my husband David sweet potato king thank you so much,” she wrote via Instagram. “Thank you @hrcfertility and @hrcfertilityembryology and all the nurses, Angels, Michelle and everyone, you guys are awesome people and so kind. Thank you so very much. From today everything will be in God hands and I will do my best for you ‘My Child.’”
While this is Annie’s first experience into parenthood, David shares three adult children, Ashley Aguilar, Brittani Allen and Jacob Toborowsky, with a previous partner.
