KODY WHO? Sister Wives star Christine Brown and David Woolley’s marriage certificate revealed – and details will make Kody furious
The couple chose their closest friends and family members to be their official witnesses and officiant
SISTER Wives star Christine Brown and David Woolley’s marriage certificate has revealed new details about their private wedding.
Christine, 51, married David Woolley, 59, on October 7 in a fairytale ceremony that took place at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
Janelle Brown was the only sister wife who attended the wedding.
Now, according to the couple’s marriage certificate exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, new details have come to the surface.
Nearly two weeks before the ceremony took place, David and Christine applied for a marriage license.
Per the September 25 application, Christine noted that her marriage to David would be her first marriage.
This, of course, snubs Kody, whom she has spiritually been married to for 25 years until they called it quits in November 2021.
But since their marriage was not made legal, Christine did not acknowledge it on her marriage application.
David, for his part, noted that this would be his second marriage, following his marriage to former wife Margaret Woolley.
Margaret tragically died on June 20, 2012 of an apparent suicide.
The David Woolley Drywall founder noted on the application that his last marriage ended in June 2012 due to “death.”
MAKING IT OFFICIAL
After the marriage license was signed by the court, the couple had 32 days to get married, which they adhered to.
The actual marriage certificate was completed following the exchanging of vows.
The first witness listed is Ruthann Stephens, Christine’s mom who goes by Annie.
The second witness listed is Kaitlyn Reading, David’s daughter.
Kaitlyn is known as Kati Charlene by Sister Wives fans since she has spoken out on TikTok about her father’s relationship.
The officiant listed is Corbin Reading, who appears to be Kaitlyn’s husband.
Corbin noted on the license that he is a “Minister” from San Tan Valley, Arizona, but it is unclear how long he has been a minister.
NEWLYWEDS
Since tying the knot in front of 330 guests and a camera crew, David and Christine have been enjoying life as newlyweds.
Earlier this month, the couple enjoyed a Plexus cruise to Haiti with Christine’s bestie Janelle.
She captioned a photo of the three of them at the time: “In the very beginning of our relationship, I told David that Janelle and her kids are part of me.
“Not as in we were living polygamy again, but she’s my Sisterwife, always. Of course, they get along great. Vacationing with all of us is awesome.”
Just recently, the couple then took a trip to New York City to meet up with Christine’s sister, Wendy Allred, and Wendy’s husband KC.
“[We] had the best time in New York!” she told her fans.
FAMILY REUNION
Following Janelle and Christine’s split from Kody, the reality stars have been distant from the other wives, Meri and Robyn Brown.
Fans have been watching the family drama play out on the show, which is currently airing new episodes every Sunday.
On the November 12 episode, the family reunited virtually.
Mykelti Brown and her husband Antonio “Tony” Padron gathered the family for a gender reveal for their twins.
Kody and his only remaining wife sat side-by-side on the video call.
Janelle was with her children, Meri seemingly opted not to appear and Christine was live with Mykelti and Tony, but appeared to avoid an awkward encounter.
Janelle weighed in at one point in a confessional, saying: “I think it’s great that Robyn and Kody are on this call. They are a couple.
“I don’t have a problem with seeing them as a couple, them participating in family stuff as a couple. It’s just what it is.”
It is unknown yet how the Sister Wives will be spending their Thanksgiving, but since tension is still high, it seems like they will all be spending it apart.
Janelle, at least, teased that she’ll be spending it at home in Flagstaff, Arizona, with her children.
