Kody Brown Doesn’t “Ever Want To Talk” To This Sister Wives Star Again
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has decided not to talk to one of his wives ever again, as revealed in a preview of the Sister Wives: One-On-One Special.
Kody Brown revealed why he’s not interested in talking to one of his Sister Wives partners anymore. Sister Wives season 18 documented the breakdown of Kody’s marriage to his three wives Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown. Kody tied the knot with his first wife Meri and then Janelle, whom he married in 1993 after deciding he wanted a plural marriage. Kody and Janelle were together for years and even welcomed six children in those 30 years. Kody and his three wives were doing just fine until Kody introduced Robyn Brown to his family.
Janelle announced that she and Kody were separating in December 2022. According to People, Kody has no intentions of getting back together with her at all. A teaser for the upcoming Sister Wives: One-On-One Special shows Kody admitting he has “no desire” left to reconnect with his second wife since their split almost a year back. “I was thinking to myself, I don’t ever want to talk to Janelle again,” Kody tells interviewer Sukanya Krishnan in the preview clip. It’s not just Janelle who decided to end her marriage with Kody. His only remaining wife now is Robyn.
David Woolley Will Appear On Sister Wives One-On-One Special
Robyn could be seen telling Kody, “You have six kids, that’s worth fighting for,” in the same clip. However, both Janelle and Christine want Kody to be answerable for what happened in their marriages since he is a “grown man.” Kody then declares, “They’re trash-talking me because I’m guilty of not loving them,” referring to two of his unspecified wives. While Janelle is single now following the end of her spiritual marriage with Kody, his third wife Christine moved on and recently married her fiancé (and fan-favorite) David Woolley in October 2023.
The shade that David keeps throwing at his wife’s ex Kody always gets a positive reception online. It seems David will be appearing in the Sister Wives: One on One Special with Christine. David makes a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in the promo, according to ET. Sukanya asks Janelle if she’s met David, and Janelle replies, “Yes, oh, I think he’s great.” Christine brought Janelle along in her new relationship along with her own six children. David accepted Christine’s request wholeheartedly. Janelle even joined Christine and David during their recent cruise adventure as they vacationed together.
Although Christine and David aren’t into polygamy, Christine considers Janelle her sister wife for life. There’s been speculation that David will soon be a part of Sister Wives because filming crews were spotted in the back of one of Christine and David’s photos on social media. The trailer has teased enough drama with Kody, but David’s official introduction to the reality TV show makes things pleasant. It was during last year’s special that Janelle confirmed her separation from Kody and said she was “not waiting” for a possible reconciliation, though she did mourn the “great run” they had together.
