Janelle Brown Shouts Out Fans After Garrison’s Season 19 Episode

Janelle Brown took to social media after TLC aired an episode about the late Garrison Brown on Sister Wives. His still-grieving mom shouted out to her fans for their support since the episode that aired his story on the weekend.

Appreciating The Love

TLC fans were not happy when the show aired because they hated Kody Brown and Robyn’s inclusion. However, it seems that not everyone criticized the choice to air the death of the popular young man. Judging by Janelle, lots of kind messages and support went her way.

On Monday, Kody’s former second wife took to Instagram and shared a black and white photo of her son hugging her. In the text overlay, it said, “Thank you to everyone for the amazing messages of love and support since the episode aired.”

Remembering Her Son

Janelle Brown also wrote a long caption. In part, she told her fans how a recent trip to “Flagstaff” brought back memories of her boy. She added, “Everywhere I looked, I could see traces of Garrison.”

The mom of six kids also said, “It’s taken awhile to accept the fact that, in the end, we did everything we could. Sometimes the mind convinces someone there’s no hope, even when all the evidence says otherwise…And because of my faith, I know I’ll be reunited with Garrison one day. That promise brings me immense comfort.”

Nowhere To Comment On Instagram

Unusually, the comments section was locked. So, fans took to Reddit to discuss the loss of Garrison. The OP wrote about the recent episode, and noted that apart from Janelle Brown, “Meri and Gabe had such sincere and heart wrenching grief.”

The outpouring of love for the family was evident in the comments as well. Here are a few of those reactions:

• The episode was definitely brutal. My eyes are definitely swollen this morning from all the crying. My heart breaks for them all, but especially Janelle and Kody. Meri broke my heart as well. I may not be a Kody Brown fan, but my heart truly goes out to him. I think Garrison’s passing has truly rocked Kody’s world.
• I’m not a cryer but this episode brought water to my eyes – perhaps because I lost a family member to suicide, but their emotions felt real and profound…Janelle – as expected, handled her grief with grace and a barely contained sadness..
• Meri broke my heart watching her reactions. Like obviously Janelle, I expected to be soul crushing. But, God. Meri was a hard watch.
