Christine Brown Doesn’t Want Garrison, Gabe and Gwendlyn to Live Together: ‘They Have Very Different Beliefs’
Christine explains her worries for her daughter and her half-siblings on the latest episode of ‘Sister Wives’
Christine Brown is expressing her concerns over her daughter Gwendlyn moving in with her half-brothers Gabe and Garrison.
During an all-new episode of Sister Wives on Sunday, Christine takes a trip to Flagstaff, Ariz., to visit Garrison’s new house and cook a meal for him and his brother Gabe (whose mom is Janelle Brown).
“Garrison bought a new house and I’m taking over the kitchen. I’m so excited,” Christine says. Later in the episode while she’s preparing the food, Gabe arrives at the house and tells her that he’s moving in “probably this weekend.”
“Gwendlyn and Gabe are moving in with Garrison. I don’t think it’s a good idea,” Christine explains in a confessional-style clip. “They are very different politically and just beliefs in general. They’re very, very different.”
While Christine makes her opinion clear, Janelle jumps in to add her two cents on the kids’ new living situation.
“There is something about living with somebody who cares if you come home at night,” she says. “Not necessarily parenting you but just cares about what’s going on with you.”
Along with Gabe, 22, and Garrison, 25, Janelle shares four more children — Logan, 29, Madison, 27, Hunter, 26, and Savannah, 18 — with Kody Brown, who she was “spiritually married” to until Dec. 2022 when he confirmed their separation.
Meanwhile, Christine and Kody share six kids together: Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Paedon, 25, Ysabel, 20, and Truely, 13, along with Gwendlyn, 25. The TLC stars were in a polygamous, spiritual marriage from 1994 until Nov. 2022 when Christine decided to leave the plural family.
Christine, who married “the love of her life” David Woolley earlier in October, told PEOPLE in Aug. 2022 that she’s “really good friends” with Janelle still because she’s been “supportive from the get-go.”
In another chat with PEOPLE, Christine revealed what her now-husband’s reaction was to her saying she and Janelle are a packaged deal.
“When I told him, I’m like, ‘I have a lot of kids and I have a sister wife, and everywhere I go, Janelle has to come with me and all of her children come with me too. There’s not just me,’” she said. “And he’s like, ‘Okay. Okay.’”
The couple celebrated their “fairytale” wedding in Moab, Utah with 330 guests in attendance.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
