NEED TO KNO

Chantel Everett is opening up about dating after divorce.

PEOPLE has an exclusive look at TLC’s latest series, 90 Day: Hunt for Love, which follows Chantel and seven other former 90 Day Fiancé stars as they look to find love on a singles-only retreat.

In the exclusive clip, Chantel, 34, opens up about life after her divorce from Pedro Jimeno in 2022 and navigating the dating world.

“Eight years ago, when I got married to Pedro, I hung up my dating skills and I never thought I would need them again,” she says in a confessional.

But as she continues, she reveals that her divorce isn’t the only reason she’s feeling wary about dating.

“Right before I came to the resort, something did happen with one of my friends,” she begins. “I was hanging out with my friend Ashley and we were drinking wine and she explains to me that she has feelings for me that are actually romantic.”

“Well, one thing led to another, and Ashley kisses me. I almost fainted, I was so shocked, and I really liked it,” she continues.

“It felt like my first kiss ever. But at the same time, I was so overwhelmed at what it all meant because I have not ever thought about dating a woman,” the TV personality notes.

Before the clip concludes, she asks cameras, “What would that mean? What would that mean for me, my dating life, and my sexuality? Does this mean that I’m a lesbian? Just like that? I don’t know.”

Chantel’s confession comes after her relationship with Pedro, which was documented for five seasons of The Family Chantel. The series concluded in December 2023 and offered a glimpse into the dramatic conclusion of the former couple’s journey together.

Chantel and Pedro were first featured in the 90 Day Fiancé season 4, when Chantel went to the Dominican Republic and got secretly engaged to Pedro. He later joined her and lived in Atlanta, Ga. on a K-1 visa. Their relationship was later documented on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? from 2017 through 2019 and 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined in 2020.

In the upcoming spinoff, Chantel will be joined by Colt Johnson (season 6), Usman AKA “Sojaboy” Umar (season 4), Rob Warne (season 10), Tiffany Franco (season 1), Cortney Reardanz (season 1) and exes Tim Malcolm and Jeniffer Tarazona (season 3).
