Liz Woods is engaged!
The 90 Day: The Single Life season 5 star said “yes” to her boyfriend, Alec. She revealed the news in PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek of the TLC show’s Tell All (Part 1) special, set to air on Tuesday, May 18.

In the clip, Liz is joined by castmates and host Ross Matthews. Matthews, 46, says he has a “burning question” for Liz and asks, “Why is your left hand so heavy?”
Liz then smiles and replies, “I have this beautiful, 4-carat ring,” as she holds up her hand to show off the diamond sparkler. She confirms that she is engaged to Alec, “the other guy I was talking to when I was on the trip.”

Liz says she was seeing Alec, who is from her hometown, before she and her female costars went on a girls’ trip to the Dominican Republic.
At one point during the season, she addressed their relationship, saying, “We just clicked. Alec wants a relationship with me, but I’ve never been single, so I told Alec I was coming on this trip and I wanted to date.”
While on the Caribbean trip, Liz ended up spending time and sparking a connection with local resident Villa Garcia.
“Okay, so before you went to the DR, you were talking to Alec?” Matthews asks in the Tell All clip, seeking clarification. “And when you came back after everything with Villa, you and Alec continued that relationship, and now you’re engaged?”

Liz then admits that she and Alec were “a little rocky for like a week or two” upon her return home, explaining, “I shut down when I came back from the DR, and then we kind of picked everything back up, and now we’re engaged.”

Liz tells PEOPLE, “After all the laughs, adventures, late nights, and memories together, we finally get forever! Alec and I are so excited for this next chapter.”
Gushing over her engagement ring, designed by Presley & Co. Fine Jewelers, she adds, “I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful custom ring from Alec. Every detail was so thoughtful and timeless — they made this moment even more meaningful.”
“We took weeks to design,” Alec tells PEOPLE, “and I chose a radiant cut because it reminded me of Liz, full of light, impossible to ignore, and more beautiful the closer you get to her.”
