Isaac Plath and Kaylynn’s breakup is far from simple — shocking secrets exposed, and it’s absolutely disgusting.

The aftermath of Isaac Plath’s decision to break up with girlfriend Kaylynn Brinkley played out in the April 14th episode of Welcome to Plathville.

When Isaac, 20, suddenly asked Kaylynn Brinkley to take off her mic so they could have a serious conversation during a night out at a Halloween-themed event with his siblings, she was surprised to hear that he wanted to end the relationship. As she processed the news in the coming days, Kaylynn sought guidance from her friend Kim, who knows Isaac’s family, to gain insight into how she should navigate the split.

“I could kind of feel like something was off in a way, like he was just kind of distancing himself,” Kaylynn explained. “So he pulled me aside after we got done, and he was like, ‘Can we talk?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ I knew something was coming. That’s when it all happened. First, he can’t get out the words, and then I kind of make them, like, ‘You got to say it. Say it with your chest.’ And he said, ‘I think we should break up.’”

“Honestly, I’m kind of shocked in a way,” she continued. “It’s thrown me for a loop. I didn’t even know what to think. Nobody saw it coming either.”

At work, Isaac also opened up about the situation to his friend, Ralph, sharing that he had begun to worry about his future with Kaylynn.

“I felt like it was moving too fast, and I was too young,” he confessed. “Certain thoughts built up to where I felt like I was under too much pressure and I wanted to just be free. I know she is a little bit older than me, so she may want to settle down a little sooner than I would have in mind. Just everything my family’s been through, it scared me.”

Noting that there was no singular thing that Kaylynn did or said to push him to break up with her, he explained that, “It wasn’t an instant decision. It was just something that I was thinking about.”

Kaylynn, however, speculated that Isaac was influenced by his coworkers, given that she never expressed wanting to rush into marriage or any other step in the relationship.

“One day it got into his head that he thought I wanted to be married in the next year or two, and that was not the case,” she said. “And then some of the guys at work kind of got into his head a lot. They were like, ‘Are you sure you want to be settled down? Are you sure you’re ready for that?’”

Isaac then admitted that was true, as he quipped of his co-worker: “Maybe I shouldn’t listen to Mario for advice.

“That’s one of the things that makes me feel so stupid, and it’s one of those things where, right after you make the decision, you just know in your gut it wasn’t a good decision,” he added. “She didn’t deserve to be treated that way after everything she’s done for me.”

He also revealed that he reached back out to Kaylynn, hoping she would give him another chance to reconcile things.

“I have no desire to do anything other than to rebuild it with her,” Isaac declared. “That’s all I want. That’s all I can see myself doing. She’s going to have to decide what she wants to do. A few days of being by myself is too much already, and it’s killing me inside. But I just miss her, man.”

“Where I’m at personally is pretty close to hell,” he continued. “It’s just really setting in now. And looking back, that’s something I should never have even thought about letting go of. I  hate myself so much that I just don’t even want to wake up if I can’t be with her. I want more than anything to talk to her and work it out.”

While he acknowledged that “a lot of trust” would need to be rebuilt, which Kaylynn emphasized as well, he said that he was “willing to go to the ends of the earth to do it.”

“I don’t know if I can recover from this with her, and I don’t know if she’d be open to that,” he shared. “I’m really waiting to see where she stands. I just don’t know if I’ve done too much damage to redo it, but I’m just praying for a second chance.”

Kaylynn appeared conflicted, revealing that Isaac even called her parents to apologize, which left both them and her “confused” about how to feel. “I have mixed emotions, because I do still care for him. I do still love him,” she explained. “But I’ve always stuck up for myself. I’m never a second option, and I’m not for all that.”

She concluded: “Honestly, right now, I don’t necessarily know where me and Isaac stand. I really believed so much that he was the one. But trust isn’t just given. It’s something that you have to earn with your actions. We’ll just see what he does. And just give it to God, because that’s the only other thing I can do.”
