Kody Wasn’t the Toughest, According to Suki

Suki Krishnan has previously discussed the challenges of interviewing the Brown family. Surprisingly, she revealed that Kody wasn’t the most difficult. In earlier seasons, Meri presented the biggest challenge, she says. Suki described Meri as guarded and emotionally closed off during the previous Tell-All segments. This was when Meri was still married to Kody and considered Robyn a friend.

According to Suki, Meri struggled to truly open up and held back from expressing her genuine feelings, making it difficult for the host to understand her experience. However, things shifted this season when Meri appeared alongside her close friend, Jenn. Suki noticed that Meri seemed more supported and spoke more freely, focusing on herself and expressing her emotions without hesitation.

The Demands of Kody Brown

If Suki’s account is anything to go by, Kody is very particular about the details during the One-On-One specials. During her appearance on Sarah Fraser’s podcast, Suki revealed that Kody arrived on set with multiple bags containing 25 different suits, as he changed his clothes several times between takes. According to Suki, Kody was highly concerned with his appearance.

She said that after nearly every take, he would ask how he looked. Suki admitted that this interrupted her thought process. She also pointed out that the women of the show focused more on the conversation itself rather than their appearance on camera. Kody also made specific requests during filming, including asking for a particular brand of water, although Suki couldn’t recall the name.

This request caused a stir among the production team, as no one knew where to find it. Suki noted that none of the other cast members made similar demands, only Kody. She added that Kody even invited her to his new home so they could meet in a more relaxed setting.
