Janelle took to Instagram to share her excitement with fans, offering a glimpse into her whirlwind move-in week through an engaging reel and a captivating video tour of her new abode.
“Ok so last week ended up being one for the books,” Janelle exclaimed in her caption. “I didn’t plan to travel to Mexico the same week I closed on, and moved into my house, but it ended up that way.”
Her week was a blend of relaxation and major life changes. Janelle revealed that she spent four glorious days in Cancun with her former sister wife Christine Brown, Christine’s husband David Woolley, and a close friend. Despite concerns about recent unrest in the area, Janelle shared that they felt safe after consulting the State Department website and monitoring flights from Cancun airport.
The Instagram post featured snapshots of Janelle enjoying the sights of Cancun and basking in the warm sunshine. Following her getaway, she shared the momentous occasion of receiving the keys to her new home, marking the official start of her new chapter.
“I am tired today and there is so much still left to do. But I am so happy and so excited,” she expressed, capturing the overwhelming joy and anticipation of settling into her dream home.
In a separate post, Janelle finally unveiled the interior of the home, showcasing the beautiful space she had been diligently working towards for the past couple of years.
“Today is the day! My house is finished. Here is what it looks like walking in,” she captioned the video, inviting her followers to join her on a virtual tour.
As the door opens, viewers are greeted by a grand living area adorned with a cozy fireplace. The tour continues into the kitchen, boasting a center island and elegant stone countertops. Janelle also highlights the high ceilings throughout the property, adding to the home’s spacious feel.
The layout seamlessly connects the kitchen to a dining area with doors leading to a charming outdoor deck. The primary bedroom, overlooking the front porch, offers a serene retreat. The en-suite bathroom is a luxurious haven, featuring dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a separate shower.
Janelle’s new North Carolina sanctuary is nestled on a sprawling 156-acre property that she co-owns with her daughter Madison Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush. The trio purchased the land in December 2024 and have been working together to develop the space.
Janelle shared that Madison’s house is conveniently located just a short distance away, fostering a close-knit family environment. Together, Janelle, Madison, and Caleb founded Taeda Farms, an endeavor focused on “building beauty from the ground up.”
