Since the finale of ‘Special Forces,’ Kody Brown from Sister Wives has been making the interview rounds. A recurring theme in his narrative is that he has reached out to all 17 of his living children. Kody consistently deflects blame onto his ex-wives for the estrangement, shirking the responsibility he initially accepted on the show.
During one of his many promotional appearances for ‘Special Forces’ on FOX 5 New York, Kody was questioned about his strained relationships with his older children from his marriages with Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown.
He responded, “I am only partly to blame. All of my children had a great relationship with me until the divorces.”
“When the divorces happened, the children were the victims,” Brown continued. “They had to pick sides, and because of polygamy, they had closer relationships with their mothers.”
Leon Brown Breaks Silence, Calling Kody a ‘Liar’
Leon Brown, Meri’s child, has stepped forward to share their truth about Kody Brown, denouncing him as a ‘liar.’ Leon had taken a step back from the show for several seasons but made a special appearance after Garrison’s tragic suicide on May 5th, 2025. At the time of his death, Garrison’s relationship with Kody and Robyn was strained. The Brown family was compelled to reunite for multiple memorial services in Garrison’s honor.
The death of Garrison forced the Sister Wives family to come together again. Leon has been moved to speak out on what a “joke of a father” Kody is and also what a “liar” he is. Leon said there is a ridiculous video of Kody saying he reaches out to his children.
Leon stated, “Let me be so f**ing clear: I have not heard from that man since my brother killed himself.” Leon added, “He blatantly blew me off at Garrison’s funeral. He is a liar; he is a joke of a father. That’s all.” Leon’s partner, Audrey Kriss, even called out Kody on his fabrication of the truth on the Viall Files Instagram, saying, “Verifiably not true.”

Fans have flocked to social media to express their outrage and disbelief at Kody Brown’s alleged falsehoods.
Longtime viewers and followers of the TLC show are making their feelings known about Kody’s version of reality, flooding social media with comments.
