Janelle Brown, one of the stars of TLC’s Sister Wives, is currently sharing her life after separation from Kody Brown and her thoughts on plural marriage. The reality  TV personality spiritually married Kody Brown in 1993. She shares six children with him. The two announced their split in 2022 after spending decades together.

The reality TV star is currently settled in North Carolina and is embracing her independence after the split. But in recent times. She has sparked attention with her argument that polygamy should be legalized. This comes as a shock to fans. Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Starts Fresh In North Carolina After Two Divorces

Sister Wives alum Janelle Brown has moved to North Carolina. As she settles into her new environment, she is ready to focus on community connections. She said the relocation was not planned, but she has started to love the change of pace and the four distinct seasons. The Sister Wives star said she has been intentionally attending local events and putting herself out there to meet new people after her split from Kody Brown.

Janelle separated from Kody in what became her second divorce, after previously marrying Adam Barber, the brother of her former sister wife Meri Brown. Now that she is single, she has said she does not want to remarry or enter any new relationship. She explained, “I’m just like, I am over it,” and made it clear that she wants to enjoy her independence.

Sister Wives star, Janelle Brown is making social buzz with her recent argument about plural marriage. She explained that when she entered into plural marriages, she felt “a calling” to the lifestyle. But now, after years of being in one, she decided to go for a spiritual divorce, and her perspective eventually shifted. In season 20 of the show, she said legalising polygamy would strip it of secrecy and make it less attractive.

“I can bet you almost would make polygamy go away that way rather than chase it underground and put people in jail,” Brown said. She continues to say that very few men would be willing to divide their estates among multiple wives if required to do so legally. “Just make it about the financial. It’s just not going to happen,” she added.

Meanwhile, her former husband, Kody, remains under scrutiny for the ongoing tension with his remaining wife, Robyn. In season, he admitted that he is considering getting another wife based solely on appearance. Robyn rejected the idea as “the very worst reason.” This definitely hints at the shifting dynamics within the Brown family as Janelle is ready to distance herself from the plural marriage that she once enjoyed.
