Janelle Brown Reveals Special Memorial For Garrison
In March 2024, Janelle Brown’s world was turned upside down when her son, Garrison Brown, took his own life. The Sister Wives star had been battling inner demons, and this was too much for him to take any longer. It was a tragic turn of events, and he was ultimately honored toward the end of Season 19. Due to his love of animals and constant adoptions, he was honored at a local Flagstaff, Arizona, animal shelter. Garrison had a cat room named after him, and some adoption fees were even waived. Now, almost two years later, Janelle revealed that her son is being memorialized once again.

The Season 20 premiere of Sister Wives aired on Sunday, September 28th. It showed how Janelle was now living in North Carolina with her daughter, Maddie Brown Brush. Moreover, they had bought a huge lot of land and were showing it to Janelle’s former sister wife, Christine Brown Woolley. While there, she shared how they would honor Garrison by naming a road after him. His legal first name was Robert, so they would call it Bob Boulevard. That was the brainchild of Maddie’s husband, Caleb, and it just worked for them. He had been known as ‘Uncle Bob’ and even had a business with Bob as the namesake.
Taeda Farms has been a work in progress, and Janelle Brown just broke ground on it. The family had to alter their plans and timeline to make things work. Along with a road named after Garrison, Janelle shared that they would also honor him with flowers:
Maddie specifically said this area could be for people struggling, as her brother did.
A Sweet Moment
Both Janelle Brown and Christine Brown Woolley have been very open about honoring Garrison Brown. They want to ensure that his legacy lives on. However, it is still a daily struggle knowing that he is gone. Christine’s husband, David Woolley, did not know Garrison all that well. Yet, his late wife dealt with mental health issues, so he can relate to what the Sister Wives family has gone through. By having a garden and a road named after Garrison, the family and viewers can have a place to always remember him. He will live on through those who come by to seek peace and solace, which is a beautiful concept.
