After extending their stay, Tigerlily reported that the resort staff and management treated them with hostility and neglect. Despite paying for the extra nights, they were denied working room keys and had to wait six hours to access their room. When the manager finally arrived, he offered no explanation or assistance and was reportedly rude. Later, when the family tried to get food, they waited 45 minutes with hungry children only to be told their order had never been placed. With no access to their room, no food, and no accountability from the resort, they decided to leave.

As they packed up and prepared to go, just minutes after the valet returned their camper van, thick smoke erupted from the back of the vehicle while Adnan was driving. In a split-second reaction, Tigerlily threw the kids out to safety while the fire was still burning, and Adnan rushed toward the flames with a fire extinguisher, managing to put it out himself. Tigerlily reported the incident to the police and fire department and suspects resort staff may have been involved. An active investigation is now underway. Though she reassured everyone that her family is safe, the experience has left them deeply traumatized.
