’90 Day: Hunt for Love’ Star Rob Warne Gives Update on Divorce Process From Sophie Sierra

Rob Warne gave an update about his divorce process from ex Sophie Sierra during an exclusive interview with In Touch ahead of his debut on 90 Day: Hunt for Love.

Despite calling off their relationship during the season 2 finale of 90 Day: The Last Resort in March, Rob, 33, told In Touch at Us Weekly’s celebration for 90 Day: Hunt for Love in New York City on Monday, May 16, that neither he nor Sophie, 26, have officially filed for divorce.

“Sophie and I have definitely already talked about it. She’s already talked to a lawyer. I’ve talked to a lawyer,” Rob explained. “I have not got the paperwork set up and, like, hired a lawyer yet.”

However, Rob added that Sophie “actually already talked to a lawyer” and “it’s just gonna take a little bit of time.”

“But that’s happening,” he continued about their plans to make the divorce official. “It’s established that her and I aren’t together and we won’t be together anymore.”

He went on to note that it’s been a “process” to terminate his “only marriage” so far. “It’s not what I ever wanted,” the TLC personality continued. “Stumbling through all of it, I think, is a part of that.”

While their divorce is not yet official, Rob said that there’s no confusion when it comes to where he and Sophie stand. “But you know, Sophie lives in Texas. I live in California. It’s not confusing,” he said. “She and I are not together. And we are getting divorced and there’s not much there to make it confusing.”

After they first connected on Instagram, Rob and Sophie experienced many ups and downs in their relationship before their wedding aired during the February 25, 2024, episode of the series.

The pair continued to document their relationship on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, and they attempted to save their marriage during season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort. However, they eventually split during the recommitment ceremony that took place during the March 25 episode.

While speaking to In Touch, Rob revealed that he gave Sophie a heads up before he appeared on 90 Day: Hunt for Love.

“When I first heard about the experience and I was first offered the opportunity to go, I mean, I told her pretty much immediately just because I felt like if she could think I was trying to do something wrong or if she could think … that I was deliberately not telling her or anything like that,” he explained. “Then it would potentially be worse for me when it eventually comes out or that she figures that out.”

He said that the “first thing” he did when he was cast on the show was reach out to Sophie to tell her, “Hey, you’re doing your thing. I’m doing my thing. And just so you know, I’m gonna be honest, I’m gonna do a season where you’re gonna have to see me dating other people, but like, that’s what it is.”

“I didn’t want it to get any worse than it could,” Rob said, claiming that Sophie has “a tendency” to “be very vengeful sometimes” and he wanted to get ahead of it.

Fans can watch Rob and other franchise favorites on 90 Day: Hunt for Love when it premieres on TLC Monday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET.
