Jasmine has become a controversial cast member thanks to her bold opinions and loud personality on the show and on Instagram. She has received her fair share of criticism for lying to Gino about using her ex’s money for plastic surgery or for relying on Gino for money. Jasmine asked her fans to ask themselves a series of questions such as, “Does the GoFundMe include intentionally misleading or factually incorrect information?” and “Are the funds not being used for the stated purpose within a reasonable amount of time (including withholding funds from the beneficiary)?” Jasmine requested her followers to understand if the fundraiser was impersonating someone else or copying their story.
“ Is the GoFundMe violating any of their terms and conditions? ” Jasmine asked.
Mary & Brandan’s Cancer Controversy Explained
Jasmine further jotted down more questions to help her fans determine if a fundraiser was trustworthy. She asked them to figure out if the fundraiser page was answering questions such as how the organizer was related to the intended recipient of the donations, the purpose of the fundraiser, and how the funds were to be used. Another important criterion was for the donator to note that direct family and friends of the recipient were making donations and leaving words of support. Moreover, Jasmine suggested that one should check whether the “intended recipient” was in control of the withdrawals.
Jasmine is calling Brandan and Mary out for launching a fundraising campaign that was shut down by the GoFundMe platform after Mary and Brandan backtracked on their cancer claim. Mary shocked her Instagram followers by revealing she had colon cancer. Mary organized the fundraiser for her surgery and received over $1,300 before it was shut down. The page mentioned Mary had been experiencing symptoms on and off since she was in high school. However, Mary decided to come clean about her “mistake” once fans started accusing the couple of lying about her condition to get money.
Brandan walked back the cancer claim by saying Mary had been self-diagnosed after watching TikTok videos about colon cancer. Mary herself later admitted that she had an anxiety attack and thought she had colon cancer after her doctor told her she had a colon issue. Mary is unwell as per the couple’s latest social media updates. The 90 Day Fiancé star now claims that the doctor has informed her she has an inflamed liver with a blood infection, a UTI, and hemorrhoids. Mary is currently on antibiotics and will have more tests done next week, including a colonoscopy if suggested by her doctor.
