90 Day Fiancé’s Brandon Gibbs Divulges “Secret” About Why He & Julia Can’t Have Kids

Brandon Gibbs from 90 Day Fiancé reveals the real reason he doesn’t have kids with Julia Trubkina, despite being married to her for over three years.

Brandon Gibbs from 90 Day Fiancé finally revealed what is stopping him and Julia Trubkina from having a child. The 30-year-old Virginia resident and his 29-year-old Russian wife debuted on the popular reality TV franchise in 2021. While the two deeply loved each other, they couldn’t get along with Brandon’s parents, Ron and Betty Gibbs, which led them to leave the family farm and get a separate place. The 90 Day Fiancé pair has contemplated having a baby over the last three years. However, family intervention and various hurdles have stopped them from conceiving a little one.

90 Day Fiancé‘s Brandon and Julia have been quiet about their baby plans for some time. As a result, some curious social media users have continuously asked them about it. Recently, Brandon shut down the baby talk and speculation by revealing why he and Julia haven’t tried yet.

He shared a photo of himself and his puppy on Instagram and wrote, “I often see people having 2 or more children. We are afraid that we cannot afford one child.” The American reality star implied that he isn’t financially ready for the baby, and Julia liked the post to show the decision is mutual.

90 Day Fiancé Fans Encourage Brandon & Julia To Have Kids

90 Day Fiancé fans and stars had mixed reactions to Brandon’s post. While some felt the reality TV star was spot on, others believed he was just making excuses. An Instagram user commented, If you can afford puppies, you can afford kids.” The follower advised the 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite couple to have a baby before it was too late. Another Instagram user shared that it was okay for the couple to wait. The fan wrote, You have them when you’re ready and take it a day at a time.” Brandon’s mother, Betty, commented on the post but didn’t force her son to give her a grandkid. She wrote, Big puppy hugs that always put a smile on your face!”

It’s clear why some fans aren’t on the same page about Brandon’s post. The 90 Day Fiancé alum and his Russian wife are already 30. Therefore, they only have four to five more years to have a stable pregnancy. Pregnant people over age 35 are more at risk for complications like miscarriage, which is why many fans think the pair should have a baby now. 90 Day Fiancé season 9 cast member Shaeeda Sween pushed her husband, Bilal Hazziez, to get her pregnant quickly, as she was in her late 30’s. Unfortunately, the pair suffered a miscarriage in 2023.

Still, it is up to Brandon and Julia to decide if they want a child. The two are grown adults who understand the importance of bringing new life into their lives. They probably shouldn’t get pregnant if they aren’t ready or happy about having a baby. Many couples enjoy a beautiful and comfortable life even without birthing a child. Adoption is also a great option if they ever feel like being parents. Having a baby isn’t impossible even after the pair is in their 40’s. Former 90 Day Fiancé stars Anna Campisi and Mursel Mistanoglu utilized surrogacy and welcomed their son in 2022.
