90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Anfisa Arkhipchenko Confirms Her SCAMMING of Ex-Husband Jorge Nava
90 Day Fiancé alumni Anfisa Arkhipchenko just blatantly confirmed that she used her ex-husband Jorge Nava for the green card. Anfisa came to America from Russia to marry Jorge back in the early years of the show. Jorge promised Anfisa a lavish life thanks to his medicinal cannabis business. However, Anfisa would prove far too expensive for him, causing several outbursts from her that helped make the show popular.
Not only were there several yelling matches but also lots of controlling behaviors from Anfisa. She would wipe Jorge’s phone out of anger and call frantically whenever away from home. This painted Anfisa as the villain of the season. But Anfisa always made herself clear that she was with Jorge for the money. Money that he promised her to spoil her with. This as well as her growing career and independence made fans grow an ironic soft spot.
Anfisa’s Confession
Reddit user biscuitbutt11 posted a screenshot about one of Anfisa ’s stories. Anfisa captions herself driving with, “POV: you moved to US from Russia, married for green card then dumped your husband and now your living best life in 70 degree weather year round.” The user comments on Anfisa’s post as a “weird flex,” but the comments are mixed.
Most of the comments mention how honest Anfisa was about her intentions to marry Jorge. u/Elon_is_musky writes, “I mean, she was pretty open that she was only with him cause she wanted to come to the US to be with a Millionaire.” Others meanwhile comment how Anfisa could be caught committing marriage fraud with this post. Top commenter u/Ok-Train-8921 says, “[S]ay it louder. you’ll be caught.”
What Anfisa’s Post Means
Anfisa was always forward about her intentions of wanting expensive things from Jorge. However, Jorge lied to her about being rich enough to afford her. Anfisa made a very great point against Jorge claiming that he wouldn’t date her if she was ugly. Their relationship was strictly transactional on both sides. While Anfisa was honest about herself, Jorge catfished Anfisa for not being as well off as he claimed to be.
After his time on the show, Jorge would get arrested for illegal marijuana possession and move on from Anfisa. The couple would break up and divorce during his two-and-a-half-year prison sentence. Now, Jorge is married to someone new with two children. With Jorge’s family growing and Anfisa building her career and education, the two have clearly moved on from each other. Anfisa seems to just be sarcastic with her message after all these years.
