She revealed that she was “just looking and searching” for ways and means to get out of this situation. Jenny had even joined several online communities and was gathering information as much as possible.

90 Day Fiance viewers were quick to dig deep into what ALS actually was as soon as Jenny gave a health update. Apparently, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is an incurable “progressive neurodegenerative disease.” It is not yet curable and is even considered to be “fatal.” Moreover, it affects nerve cells in a person’s brain and spinal cord. People suffering from ALS usually experience muscle weakness, loss of mobility, and even speech.

Jenny had already mentioned slowed-down speech and difficulty swallowing. However, her mobility is still good, and she can walk. The celeb recently shared a happy picture with her husband on social media. Jenny assured her audience that she was still able to walk, while Sumit was allowed to smile. She had already revealed that her ALS progression was “slow.”

Sumit and Jenny are now looking for “genetic testing” and are “open to any kind of help.” While the latter is trying her best to improve her health, she made it clear that she wants to live a normal life. Apparently, Jenny said she doesn’t want any different treatment and wants to live like she used to. This could be why she still wants to go out with Sumit and let him also live his life happily.

90 Day Fiance star Jenny Slatten’s daughter, Christina, has always been her biggest supporter. She visited India a few months ago for a short trip. Christina spent some great time with her mom and stepdad, Sumit. Recently, she uploaded a video thanking viewers for all the support they have been offering her mom. Jenny’s daughter said there is a long road ahead and that she wants more support from viewers.

Christina stated, “I will be headed back after I take care of a few things here, and I will be there with Sumit every step of the way.” She decided to share the GoFundMe link in her bio so viewers can support her mom with her treatment. Jenny’s friend, Penny, set up a $250K USD fundraiser.

She wrote, “As many of you know, ALS is a progressive disease that will require increasing medical care and support over time.” Jenny’s friend explained that the treatment for one year alone will exceed $200,000. Jenny’s family and friends are hoping to cover wheelchair, in-home nursing or caregiver support, and future hospital and treatment costs with the money.
