David wrote in the caption, “Happily Heavenly Father’s Day Dad.” He added that there hasn’t been a single day when he doesn’t call his late dad or miss him. He also thanked him for giving him the life and knowledge he had. Annie’s partner further explained that not just he but all his kids and grandchildren remember him, and they miss his humor.

David hoped Minthira would meet her grandfather at least once, but she couldn’t, as time didn’t permit.
