Darcey Silva has finally walked down the aisle with her long-term love interest, Georgi Rusev. So, her ex-boyfriend from 90 Day Fiance, Tom Brooks, also decided to step into a new phase and ended up getting engaged.
Tom recently revealed that his girlfriend, Mariah, finally accepted his proposal. He explained how this was his second proposal, as the latter ended up brutally turning down the first one. The celeb initially planned to pop up the question in Venice in front of Mariah’s sons.
But things couldn’t fall in his favor, so he switched his plan. Hence, Tom went down on his knees when Mariah visited him in London. He seemed to be really “happy” as he proudly announced his engagement.
Tom stated, “I’m so happy that myself and Mariah are engaged.” However, he admitted that they still have to figure out where they would be living together as the couple is currently in a long-distance relationship. He lives in England, while Mariah resides in Las Vegas.
Hence, they have to figure out how things would work between them after they tie the knot. However, before anything, Tom decided to travel all the way to Turkey. This is because the 90 Day Fiance star wanted to fix his teeth, especially his veneers. Brooks seemed to be glad with the results of his dental treatment, as he showed it off during the recent episode.
90 Day Fiance: Tom Will Be Moving To USA For Mariah’s Sake
Tom is tired of his long-distance relationship now. He confronted Mariah regarding the same. The 90 Day Fiance celeb stated that the last time he moved to America, he didn’t feel like part of the family. Even though the couple stayed in a different house, Tom didn’t feel that he belonged there.
However, Mariah assured Tom that this time, things would be different. She explained that as they are “engaged,” everything would be better for them. Brooks also felt a bit relieved because of this assurance. He stated, “I feel a bit better about moving to the U.S. and building our lives there together.”
Well, Tom believes that he still has a lot to consider. But he was happy that his mother, Jayne, was at peace with his decision. He recalled how the latter gave him her full blessings as she had high regard for Mariah.
Tom explained how there have been issues with Jayne in the past. But this time, he felt loved more than ever in his life. Hence, the celeb was now excited about planning his life with Mariah and walking down the aisle with her!
